New Zealand is pleased to announce the expansion of New Zealand Development Scholarship awards to include all CARICOM states and the Dominican Republic. Interested candidates are invited to apply for scholarships under the New Zealand Development Scholarships (NZDS) scheme.
NZDS scholarships will be offered at postgraduate level for study related to Sustainable Economic Development in the following priority sectors:
Agriculture;
Disaster Risk Management; and
Renewable Energy.
In order for the application to be considered, applicants must complete an NZDS application form (available from a New Zealand Embassy, http://www.aid.govt.nz/, or New Zealand education institutions) by Monday, December, 2, 2013, for studies commencing in July, 2014.
Female applicants are strongly encouraged to apply as the New Zealand Government attempts to ensure gender equity among scholarship holders.
