Trinidad and Tobago won their second match in a row at the CG Insurance Women’s Super50Cup edging past the Windward Islands by two wickets on Friday at Basseterre.
Karishma Ramharack took 3 for 24 and Shalini Samaroo 2 for 24 as T&T bowled out the Windwards for 150 in 44.3 overs.
Afy Fletcher top-scored with 50 while Qinana Joseph got 29 for the Windwards.
Trinidad and Tobago were in a promising position at 66 for 1 in the 14th over before Reniece Boyce (53) and Samaroo (24) fell in quick succession.
However, Ramharack struck 23 not out off 25 balls to put on an unbroken 34 runs for the ninth wicket with Samara Ramnath (3) to earn the win with 69 balls to spare.
Trinidad and Tobago suffered a six-wicket loss to Barbados in their first game before beating Jamaica by one wicket on Wednesday to get their first victory of the tournament.
Anisa Mohammed’s team will now play the Leeward Islands on Monday in Round Four of the tournament.
