Police Training Course at the Abu Dhabi Police College

We are excited to welcome home PC Trevion Gaskin, who recently completed a training course at the Abu Dhabi Police College, made possible by a partnership between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Association of Caribbean Commissioners.

Over the past four months, from October 2024 to February 2025, PC Gaskin engaged in an intensive training program that focused on four key areas: physical fitness, drilling, academic studies, and marksmanship. The course also incorporated innovative virtual reality simulations for law enforcement and safety training, emphasizing evidence-based investigations.

PC Gaskin proudly earned a Level 5 certificate from the National Qualification Centre in Advanced Police Science, joining participants from twenty-nine other countries in this transformative experience.

Reflecting on his time abroad, PC Gaskin expressed great satisfaction, noting that living in a different culture enriched him both personally and professionally. He developed a deeper appreciation for life and policing in St. Kitts and Nevis and is eager to share his knowledge, encouraging his fellow officers to pursue similar training opportunities.

Commissioner of Police James Sutton extended heartfelt congratulations to PC Gaskin, expressing deep pride in his achievements. He reaffirmed his commitment to empowering every officer under his command by promoting personal and professional development while serving our nation.

The RSCNPF is immensely grateful to the UAE for this invaluable continuing partnership. Let us celebrate PC Gaskin’s accomplishments and his dedication to making our communities safer!
