Police Recover Cannabis Contraband at Southeast Peninsular

The police are investigating a large quantity of cannabis that was recovered on April 6, 2025, in the Major’s Bay area of the Southeast Peninsula in St. Kitts. Acting on the information received, officers from the Special Services Unit (SSU) of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) visited the scene.

Their search led to the discovery of thirty-eight (38) packages of compressed vegetable material, which was later confirmed to be cannabis. No suspects have been identified in connection with this find.

The Crime Scene Unit processed the area, and both the contraband and other items of evidential value were taken into custody. An investigation into the matter is ongoing. The RSCNPF encourages anyone with information relevant to this or any other criminal matter to contact their nearest police station.
