Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 29, 2018 (RSCNPF): The operations of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) is getting some much needed support with the recent swearing-in of 21 new recruits.
Deputy Commissioner Brandy encouraged the new recruits to be honest and learn their duties intimately.
“Some of you will be going over to Nevis. If all of you adapt and be disciplined then you will be successful. I want you to keep your heads on and be a role model for your family, for your country and for St. Kitts and Nevis,” Deputy Commissioner Brandy said.
Commissioner of Police Ian Queeley urged the young men to embark on their policing careers with diligence and professionalism, while Assistant Commissioner of Police Terrance James encouraged them to pick up the good habits because those would take them far.
Force Personnel Officer, Clifford Govia, told the new recruits that he knew they had made a sacrifice to have travelled so far. He asked them not to underestimate the importance of the decision they had made.
Several others are expected to be sworn in shortly.
