Police Investigating Robbery of Ice Cream Truck

Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 10, 2016 (RSCNPF): The Criminal Investigations Department on Nevis is currently investigating a report of armed robbery in Bath Village on Friday night (September 9)

Initial investigations revealed that two armed assailants robbed a mobile ice cream vendor while in the area of a church in the area.

The assailants were described as one being about 6’-2” tall and the other about 5’-2”.

A sum of money was taken from the vendor.

No one was injured in the incident.

Anyone who may have seen a pair of persons matching this description in Bath Village last night or may have seen any unusual activity around the ice cream vendor is asked to provide the information to the Police. You can do so by calling any Police Station or CRIME STOPPERS at 1-800-8477 (TIPS).

The investigation continues.
