Police officers in St. Kitts are investigating the death of a young male of Half Way Tree, St. Kitts.
On the morning of Sunday, March 3, 2013 a single gunshot was heard in close proximity of the victim’s home. This alerted officers and a search of the area led to the discovery of the body of twenty-four year old Darren Duporte.
It is said that he was attacked while walking home. Further information revealed that he was running from his attacker but succumbed to his injuries a short distance from his home.
Duportes’ death marks the fifth homicide for the year 2013 in the Federation.
Investigations into this matter continue.
