Police Apprehend Suspect in Shadwell Robbery

The police are investigating a robbery that took place at a grocery store in the Shadwell area on St. Kitts. The incident occurred on June 3rd, 2024, between 1 PM and 2 PM.

Preliminary investigations suggest that a male assailant armed with a machete entered the store and stole an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register.

The perpetrator was apprehended by patrolling officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) shortly after leaving the store and has since been taken into custody.

The Crime Scene Unit processed the area and collected potential evidence. An investigation into the incident is ongoing, and updates will be provided to the public.
