PM Douglas has hectic schedule in Nevis on Thursday

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, DECEMBER 17TH 2014 (CUOPM) – The Federation’s Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas has a hectic schedule when he visits Nevis on Thursday.
The St. Kitts and Nevis leader will attend the distribution of laptops to first formers of the Charlestown Secondary School and the Gingerland High School in Nevis.

Prime Minister Douglas will join Nevisian Parliamentarian and Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs, Homeland Security, Labour, Immigration, Justice and Legal Affairs, the Hon. Patrice Nisbett and Minister of Youth and Information Technology, the Hon. Glenn Phillip at the Federal Office in Charlestown, the first distribution location.
Prime Minister Douglas, who is also Minister responsible for Social Security will later make a presentation of a Nissan Frontier Pick Up truck on behalf of the St. Christopher and Nevis Social Security Board to the Nevis Fire Services.

Dr. Douglas then goes to the Alexandra Hospital to hand over a ventilator, an anesthesia patient monitor and a Toyota Hiace vehicle on behalf of the Social Security Board to the Ministry of Health of the Nevis Island Administration (NIA).

Prime Minister Douglas ends his visit to Nevis with his attendance at Pinney’s Beach location of the unveiling of his governing St. Kitts and Nevis Labour Party and the Nevis Reformation Party draft agreement that will strengthen the relationship for the betterment of life and for progress for Kittitians and Nevisians.

It coincides with what has been dubbed a Once in a lifetime event at Pinney’s Beach in Nevis and Port Zante, St. Kitts featuring famous Jamaican artists iOctane and Coppershot as well as local artistes Sista Sensia, Nu Vybes and Infamus from St. Kitts and Extasy Sound and Kore Band from Nevis.
