The revised proposal seeks to develop the 380 acre site at Pinney’s into a five star luxury resort including a destination beach hotel with 72 bedroom suites and an assortment of luxury villas, golf villas and tennis courts. Other proposed facilities on the beach site include swimming pools, restaurants, spa, beach club and new jetties for the landing of arrivals from St Kitts.
The Spa retreat hotel further inland and elevated, offers stunning views across the Caribbean Sea, designed with a more secluded retreat in mind. The hotel also offers 72 bedroom suites with an assortment of spa villas.
The hotels and associated accommodation bookend the 6,900 yard, par 71, 18 hole golf course. Luxury golf villas are secreted around the fringe of many of the golf holes. Each villa is oriented and designed to optimise views across the site but also maintaining privacy of the occupier.
Other facilities include staff accommodation and ancillary areas such as the maintenance and plant compound.
The development will be serviced via two access points off the main road. These roads will weave around the site connecting all the differing accommodation together.
Proposed phasing of the development is as follows:
Phase 1: The beachside hotel and all development up to the road, all archaeological works, flood mitigation measures and initial earthworks to the lower part of the golf course.
Phase 2: The golf course and related real estate and access roads.
Phase 3: The Spa hotel, related real estate, condominium units and access roads.
Each phase will also include an appropriate proportion of back of house and engineering facilities.
