The Maude Smith Pre School, as per usual, was the first school to hold its annual sports day, for 2020.
The event was held at the Bath Village playing field, on Friday 7th February, under the distinguished patronage of former student and former outstanding athlete, Brithany Lucius.
After an impressive march past, the adoring tots entertained their parents, other family members, friends of the school and several visiting schools, in such races as Old Mac Donald; Jack and Jill (fill the bottle); nuts and bolts; Flat races; thread the roll and teachers’ race among others.
In the Teachers’ race, Headmistress Josette Myers, as per usual, held on to her customary last spot and as per usual, contested the result.
Final point standings:
Orange house – 350 points
Green house – 249 points
