Charlestown-Nevis-Nevis Television Channel 8, is currently celebrating a special week of activities.
Director at the popular media house, Ms. Judith Dasent, has confirmed that it is not an anniversary celebrations but simply a week to bring awareness as to the workings of the television station-dubbed an AWARENESS WEEK.
The week commenced with a service of thanksgiving for the staff, at the New Testament church, located in Bath Village, which was held on Sunday 27th January.
Some of the other activities for the remainder of the week, which will climax on Friday 1st February, will include, the fact that viewers will be able to see some of the former news and sports readers, such as Stevenson Manners; Averil Richards-Williams and Carlisle Powell, assisting in presenting the news and sports.
There will also be an open day for the general public and a training session in the operation of the video camera, for a specially invited group of individuals.
The staff will also engage in some private activities such as a luncheon and a scenic tour.
