The Nevlec team powered its way to victory on Tuesday night, as the exciting Malcom Guishard Basketball league continued at the Church Ground hard court.
They came up against the Old School team, who to their credit, played well, even though they only had five players on court for the entire game.
Early into the final quarter, the scores were tied 32 –all and then ensued a ding dong battle for supremacy, with both teams edging ahead as the excitement mounted.
In the final analysis, Old School missed a few crucial shots and Nevlec made at least two critical baskets in the dying moments of the game, that made a world of difference to the eventual outcome.
