(NCA PRESS RELEASE)
Good morning & New Year’s blessings to all. The Leeward Islands Cricket Board has scheduled the Senior Men’s 3-Day cricket tournament for February 18th to March 4th.
The tournament will be hosted by St. Kitts & Nevis. In order to prepare our team, the NCA management has made the following decisions:
1) The NCA/NB Ten10 competition will resume this weekend as scheduled.
2) The matches will be suspended after the games on January 15th.
3) Selectors will immediately select a squad of 30. That squad is to be presented to the Management no later than January 8th, 2023.
4) Once selected, NCA will meet with the squad.
5) Training for the 3 days will start on January 17th.
6) Trial matches will be played on January 21-22, 28-29 & February 4-5
7) Team selection will be done on March 5th.
We will schedule a general meeting with all clubs by next week to have further discussions with member clubs.
