Shafeyah and Nekirah

The show which is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee anniversary will feature nine contestants representing Antigua and Barbuda, British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Haiti, Montserrat, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, United States Virgin Islands, and St Kitts Nevis.

Shafeyah will be appearing in position number 6 and is confident of making the Federation proud even with the understandable pressure of St Kitts and Nevis’ popularity in this show over the years.

The reigning Jaycees Queen is Nekirah Nicholls of St Kitts Nevis.

Shafeyah intends to use this pageant to bring awareness to people struggling with Mental Illness and the public’s response to those who suffer this fate.

As an advocate, she plans to continue her campaign utilizing her pageant platform to encourage stakeholders to prioritize mental illness and its impacts on society.

The National Carnival Queen will then travel to Nevis to participate in the Miss Caribbean Culture Pageant which is slated for August 7, 2023, at the Nevis Cultural Complex.

This show returns after a three-year hiatus due to COVID-19 and will feature nine contestants from throughout the Caribbean
