TAZIA BRISCOE

Tazia Briscoe is a talented and dynamic young lady. She was born in Jamaica and has made Montserrat her home since the age 6. Her winsome smile and captivating personality propelled her to capture the title of Ms Montserrat in December of 2013 Queen of Festival Pageant.
Presently, Tazia works as an Administrative Assistant and Customer Service Representative while studying Human Anatomy and Psychology in the pursuits of her dream to become a pediatrician.
As an advocate for the eradication of child sexual abuse, she is avidly involved in the “Break the Silence and End Child Sexual Abuse” Initiative. She is working along with the Community Services department, going into schools to speak to the students about this initiative.
Tazia doesn’t have a favourite writer; however, loves Authors such as Jackie Collins, James Patterson and Daniel Steel as they allow her imagination to have free rein.
A naturally gifted dancer she is a choreographer and teacher, for the renowned group “Dance Excel”, where she moulds young dancers who share her passion for dancing.
Tazia motto is “WHATEVER THE MIND CONCEIVES AND BELIEVES, IT CAN ACHIEVE”, and to this end she is very passionate about the Redevelopment of her island and hopes that in the future she will be able to open a pediatric center on Montserrat .
