Stephen Mackie Moore In Stable Condition after Gun Shot Wound

Charlestown-Nevis-Thursday 19th April 2018-A well-placed source has indicated that Stephen MACKIE Moore, is currently warded at the Alexandra Hospital but is in stable condition after being shot last evening in an apparent botched robbery attempt.

The incident occurred at the well-known Stanley’s gas station situated at Church Ground during the course of last evening.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that Moore who is the President of the Hanley’s Road Fisher Folks Association (the group which is operating the gas station at present), had gone to the gas pump to conduct a reading, prior to closing up for the night, when he was accosted by two armed bandits.

One shot was fired and struck him in his arm and he later fled the scene so too did the bandits.

This morning the Gas station was open and it seemed to be ‘business as usual except for evidence of blood stains on the gas pump.

The Police are investigating the matter.
