Charlestown, Nevis: – Tuesday, March 18th 2014: “There is no Culturama without LIME”, were the sentiments made by Culturama Committee Chair, Mrs. Deborah Tyrell as she gave her remarks during the launch of Culturama 40 at the picturesque grounds of the Cotton Ginnery Mall in downtown Charlestown, Nevis.
Signaling the start of the 140 day countdown to August 1, Executive Director of the Culturama Secretariat and Event Chairman Mr. Antonio Liburd lauded the continuous contribution that LIME has made and continues to make, as the major sponsor of Culturama. He stated, “LIME has been with us for twenty five years and counting, and that is a remarkable achievement for any corporate sponsor in our twin island Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis”.
Making the symbolic presentation on behalf of LIME to Minister of Tourism & Culture Mr. Mark Brantley was Ms. Lornette Powell, who expressed LIME’s gratitude to the Nevis Culturama Committee for affording LIME the opportunity to give back to the community in this way. LIME signed another two (2) year partnership agreement with Culturama, making LIME once again its major sponsor.
