The Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College exploded with excitement for their first ever QR Code Treasure Hunt. The Student Government Association definitely took advantage of LIME’s #Upgrade Christmas Campaign and facilitated a fun and exciting way for students to win a number of gifts and great prizes for the holiday season. Using any mobile device and downloading LIME’s SKN Fest App, participants’ accessed clues, which they then used to cleverly find QR codes that were hidden across the three campuses. In accumulating a number of prizes along the way, once the users captured all of the QR codes, they automatically qualified for one of the great prizes. The grand Prize was awarded to Kemetri Morton who completed the hunt in thirty (30) minutes! Abigail Liburd, CFBC Student
Government Association president expressed on behalf of the student body “We are very appreciative of LIME’s support in furthering our team’s agenda to elevate the academic, extra-curricular and overall student experience at the CFBC. Last week they sponsored our fundraising hike to Mount Liamiuga and this week again, students were able to become engaged in another positive activity. To my surprise, even in the pouring rain the students were not deterred and put their smarts to work in solving the clues and locating the prizes. We are definitely an “e-generation” so making good use of technology with the SKN Fest app was definitely progressive and exciting and I am happy that LIME was able to fully support the initiative.”
Students were able to win, the very new to the market, Alcatel 7” Tablet, the Alcatel C1 smartphone and the Fugoo wireless speaker as the top prizes, with other prizes such at $50 top-ups, LIME promotional packages, and thumb drives. During the QR Code Hunt the LIME Marketing Manager who was present to witness the excitement expressed that LIME is happy to help the students “Upgrade” with LIME for the Christmas season. “LIME remains focused on improving education and educational activities, which are technology oriented. Likewise, all of the public schools in St. Kitts and Nevis now have access to Superfast Wi-Fi sponsored by LIME and this is just another demonstration of our commitment. We have also recently announced more affordable data plans, which is something we definitely see being specifically beneficial to these students.” LIME is the Caribbean’s number one telecoms provider with several active youth and scholarship programs throughout the region.
