The Guyana Jaguars dominated their encounter versus the Leewards Hurricanes on Saturday 9th January as the regional super 50 series continued.
In a match played at the Warner Park stadium, the Jaguars batted first and compiled 219 for 9 in their 50 overs. They were led by the enduring Shivnarine Chanderpaul who scored a compact half century.
Quinton Boatswain was the main wicket taker for the Hurricanes.
When the Hurricanes batted, they lost wickets regularly and only Orlando Peters with 35, Chesney Hughes with 27 and Jacques Taylor with 22 posed any semblance of resistance.
