There was a huge crowd in attendance, as the Culturama Drag race meet roared off with a screech of tyres.
The action was at the St. James’ Raceway on Sunday 4th August and there was a definite buzz of excitement, as race car lovers waited in anticipation to see the fast cars on the track.
They were not disappointed and despite the fact that the meet was eventually hampered by the inclement weather, the patrons would be willing to admit that they got their money’s worth.
