The Elizabeth Pemberton Primary School, held its annual cross country run for senior boys, on Friday 11th February.
Kayron Brandy who had won the race last year had one stated goal of establishing a record, in his final year at the school.
He led for the first half of the race, but as he got tired, he was closed in by Ajani Brandy.
The lead was exchanged several times, but Kayron prevailed in the final 50 meters.
He fell short of the record, but made sure of the gold medal
