On Wednesday, the CSA Invitational XI captain Wiaan Lubbe made the top score of 72 and Dewald Brevis added 50 as West Indies used all their bowlers and sent down 89.5 overs. Jordan displayed good control and his first wicket was Wandile Makewetu caught behind by keeper Da Silva for 12, as he pushed at a ball outside the off-stump. Jordan returned later and grabbed the last two wickets when he got Codi Yusuf taken behind again by Da Silva without scoring, and then had last man Thando Ntini, clean bowled for a “duck”.
The third and final day’s play is scheduled to start at 10 am (4 am Eastern Caribbean/3 am Jamaica). West Indies are using the match as part of their preparations for the two-Test series against South Africa, which starts on 28 February at SuperSports Park in Centurion.
