On May 30th, 2024, between 11 AM and 12 PM, law enforcement officers recovered one firearm in the area of East Park Range, St. Kitts.
Police officers from the Violent Crime Unit (VCU) of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) collaborated with personnel from His Majesty’s Customs and Excise K9 Unit to search for an abandoned wooden structure in that area.
The search operation led to the recovery of a KAHR CT40 pistol, accompanied by a magazine containing seven .40 calibre rounds of ammunition. The Crime Scene Unit (CSU) processed the area, and the items were taken into custody.
Presently, no individual has been apprehended in connection with the contraband recovery.
