An interesting and novel competition has been developed between the private High Schools in St. Kitts and Nevis.
Currently, the schools are engaged in what has been dubbed as ‘The Private High Schools Inter School Football league.
On Saturday 20th October, one such match up took place at the Villa Grounds in Charlestown, Nevis.
That is when the Nevis International Secondary School (NISS), pitted skills against the Immaculate Conception Catholic School (ICCS).
It was a very exciting game and attracted not only the two teams in focus, but cheer leaders from their schools, along with parents, siblings and other well-wishers.
When the final whistle was blown however, the ICCS team had taken a decisive lead to win the game, 5 goals to 3.
Details are still sketchy but two of the goal scorers for the NISS team were Tyrese Powell and Malik Stevens.
The Nevis International Secondary School will next take on SKI out of St. Kitts, at the Villa grounds on Saturday 3rd November
