BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, FEBRUARY 13th, 2017 (PRESS SEC) — The activities celebrating the Team Unity coalition’s resounding victory at the polls on Monday, February 16th, 2015 will continue tomorrow, Tuesday, February 14th, 2017, with Cabinet Ministers and other officials in the Government of National Unity holding wide-ranging consultations with community members from 4:00pm.
On Tuesday morning, they will visit schools.
Speaking on Sunday, February 12th during the packed church service at the Immaculate Conception Co-Cathedral, Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris said that, “Tuesday is a special day. It is Valentine’s Day and we want to remember our children, and so we have determined that we shall visit the schools on St. Kitts and Nevis to show some love to the children – the future and the present of St. Kitts and Nevis.”
Prime Minister Harris will be at the Edgar T. Morris Primary School in Tabernacle tomorrow afternoon from 4:00pm to about 6:30pm, meeting one-on-one with his constituents. Dr. Harris, the popular, six-time elected Member of Parliament, represents the St. Christopher #7 constituency (Belle Vue to Ottley’s).
Other Parliamentary Representatives in the Government of National Unity will be in their constituencies from 4:00pm, meeting one-on-one with and listening to and taking note of the concerns of community members.
Attorney General, the Honourable Senator Vincent Byron, Jr. and His Excellency Ambassador Jonel Powell will meet with community members of the St. Christopher #2 constituency at the Old Girl’s School/Anglican Church Hall on Victoria Road.
The Honourable Senator Wendy Phipps and Youth Adviser Mr. Vernon Connor will meet with community members of the St. Christopher #6 constituency at the Fisherman’s Cooperative Building in Dieppe Bay.
His Excellency Ambassador Sydney Osborne and the Honourable Senator Akilah Byron-Nisbett will meet with community members of the St. Christopher #3 constituency at the Dr. William Connor Primary School.
