The Nevis Academy Primary School, held its annual sports meet on Thursday 8th March, at the Bath Village Playing field, under the esteemed patronage of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Perkins.
There was a pretty large turnout of spectators and the races proved to be very exciting.
It all started with the march past of the three house teams and inspection by the patrons and Headmistress Wilkinson.
The athletes then took to the track and competed in the 100; 200; 400; 800; 1200 and 4X100 meters races.
There were also a host of fun events, to keep the crowd thoroughly entertained.
Green house and Blue house had a running battle all afternoon, as the lead was shared between them at intervals.
At the end of the day however, it was Green house taking the lap of honour, in grand celebration.

Green house-champions-220 points
Blue house -215 points
Orange house-202 points
