The Joycelyn Liburd Primary school held its annual road relay on Wednesday 31st January.
The girls started first, close to the Gingerland Pre School, heading up the Hardtimes Road, with the first baton pass, just below BLACKIE’S Disco.
The athletes then continued through Rawlins, making the next baton pass at the junction of the Rawlins main Road and then raced down the incline to make the final baton pass at the Old Manor gate.
It was then a race to glory on the main road in Gingerland, back to the school, to the loud cheers of their fan base.
The boys followed immediately after and completed the same route, to similar cheers.
