Ms. Tasha Parry-General Secretary of the St. Kitts-Nevis Drag Racing Association, has informed of an upcoming ‘international’ Drag race meet, set to be hosted in Nevis, this coming weekend.
It will be the first official meet of the year and Ms. Parry indicated that her Association decided to start ‘big.’
Racers are due in from Antigua, Anguilla, St. Maarten, St. Martin and St. Kitts, to engage the racers from the host island, Nevis.
The meet will be held over two days-Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May.
The event will commence at 11 am on Saturday and 1 pm on Sunday.
The slower cars will race on Saturday and the faster cars will race on Sunday, with the finals for all classes, also set for Sunday.
Both days will also have TEST AND TUNE for the vehicles.
The entrance fee for each day, is $30.00 per adult and 10.00 per child in Primary school, with preschoolers entering for free.
Adults can also cash in on a weekend pass of $50.00 for the two days.
There will be musical entertainment on both days, with a variety of vendors, plying their trade.
