Local sports commentator Frankie Claxton recently paid tribute to the late sporting icon Lester Blackett from Nevis.
Claxton highlighted Blackett’s outstanding skills as a footballer in St. Kitts and Nevis, as well as his accomplishments as a track athlete.
He praised Blackett for his role as a founding member and long-serving President of the Nevis Athletics Association, noting his strong organizational and administrative skills, meticulous event planning, and selfless contributions to his country.
