Basseterre, St. Kitts- There is a cause for concern, within the federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, as even though Health officials are confident that the current wave of the coronavirus spread, has peaked and is petering off, within the last three days, the death toll from the viral infection, has soared.
Up until Saturday 22nd January, there were still 28 deaths recorded in the Federation, but on Sunday 23rd January, the covid situation report for that day indicated that there were three additional deaths, taking the number to 31.
It has been confirmed that two of those deaths occurred in St. Kitts and one n Nevis.
Further, on Monday 24th January, the situation report for that day, indicated another covid related death, taking the overall number of deaths to 32.
It has not yet been revealed in which island, the most recent death occurred.
