The first match of the 2023 Primary Schools’ Football tournament, ended in a draw.
The match-up was between the Violet OJ Nicholls Primary School (VOJN) and the St. Thomas Primary School (STPS).
Both teams gave it their all and there were a few missed opportunities along the way, on both sides of the field.
However, the defenders for both teams and the goalies, worked overtime, as if their very lives depended on it.
By the time, Referee Virgo blew the final whistle, the scoreline remained Nil-all
Goalkeeper, Omarion Sage of VOJN was adjudged the player of the match and he received a movie night pass and a ball, which was donated by SOL.
