Stephen Hector, a former police officer from Bath village, donated twenty-five footballs to the Hot Springs Bath United Football Club on the evening of Tuesday, April 30th.
The presentation was made at the Nevis Athletic Stadium while the Bath United team was having a practice session.
Mr Hector expressed his admiration for the dedication that the team and coaches pay to the sport and hoped that the balls would help the players hone their skills.
He also gave credit to Raymond “RAYBO” Smith for reaching out to him on behalf of the club.
Alex Claxton, the long-serving coach of the Bath team, accepted the balls and thanked Mr Hector for his generous and timely contribution.
He stated that his team will strive to do even better than they did in the first round of the premier league as they eagerly await the second-round action.
