The St. Kitts –Nevis Football Association (SKNFA), has commenced construction on the first artificial turf in the federation.
Construction on the third phase of the Technical center project, located at St. Peter’s, commenced in December 2020 and will include a full-sized artificial turf; 1,000 lux floodlighting system; to meet international standards and fencing of the property.
The current phase of the construction is contracted to Edel Grass BV of the Netherlands and sub-contracted to the local construction firm of Kelly construction, at a cost of two million US dollars.
