Action in the SKNFA ladies’ Football Tournament, continued at the Nevis Athletic Stadium, on the evening of Saturday 7th October.
In game one, the Queen City ladies engaged the Rams Village Superstars ladies.
It was a fiercely fought first half, but when the whistle blew for the break, Queen City had a crucial 1-goal-to-nil advantage.
In the second half, the Village lasses increased their intensity and in making a run-through, one of the Queen City forwards got a nasty fall and was down for the count for quite some time.
The game was halted until the ambulance came to take her to the hospital, as the word was that, it was critical how she was moved.
Immediately after that break, Village made a quick run-through and scored.
Shortly after that, Queen City slammed home a penalty and followed that by converting a super run-through, to make it 3 goals to 1 by the final whistle
