On Thursday 27th July, the Queen City ladies’ team engaged their counterparts from the Bath United team, at the Nevis Athletic Stadium.
In front of a small gathering, Bath United scored from the penalty spot, just before half-time.
The big question was: Would the Bath ladies be like their men’s team and allow the opposition to catch up in the second half?
Well, late in the second half, the Queen City ladies bombed one home and as the minutes ticked away to the final whistle, it was Queen City scoring again.
Make that 2 goals to 1, in favour of the Queen City Ladies.
