On Sunday 16th October, the Queen City Girls played a practice match versus the St. Thomas’ Primary School team, as that school prepares for the upcoming Primary Schools championship.
By the end of the first half, the contest was still evenly poised, with the ladies leading in the scoreline of 1 goal to nil.
However, very early in the second half, the ladies knocked in two more goals.
The St. Thomas’ Primary team, managed a consolation goal, late in the second half, much to the jubilation of their supporters.
