Football : Final Four Decided After Intense Preliminary Rounds

After eight rounds of intriguing, exciting football action, the top four teams have emerged, based on their accumulated points, in the National Bank Primary Schools’ Football tournament.

The Ivor Walters Primary School comes away at the top with 21 points, with defending champions Charlestown Primary trailing in second place with 19 points. The other two top teams are St. Thomas’ Primary with 17 points and Joycelyn Liburd Primary with 15 points.

As the final preliminary round matches are played on Tuesday, 22nd October, the battle for regular season champions will be settled between Ivor Walters Primary and Charlestown Primary, depending on the results of their matches on that day.
