El Salvador gained a comfortable victory over home team St. Kitts and Nevis, at Warner Park, on the evening of Saturday 12th June, as part of the world cup qualifiers.
In the very first minute of the game, St. Kitts –Nevis hit the back of the net, with what was later ruled an off-side goal.
From thereon, El Salvador took control:
Rugadas scored in the 3rd minute
Perez scored in the 20th minute-2 -0
Rugama scored in the 28th minute
The Half time was 3-0 in favour of the visitors.
In the 64th minute, Ceren sealed the deal for El Salvador, by slamming home a penalty offer.
The two teams are now scheduled for a rematch, in the home and away series, on Tuesday 15th June.
