A brief but significant ceremony took place at the Nevis Academy Primary School, on Wednesday 10th January.
Ms. Nichola Fraser and Mr. Aljay Newton, representing the Departments of Education and Sports, presented student, Destiny Hoosain with a trophy for her distinct honour of being the top female footballer in the Primary Schools’ Football tournament, which concluded towards the end of 2023.
Destiny played defence for the Nevis Academy team and stopped many of the boys in their bid to score.
The Headmistress of the School, Dr Andrea Bussue, congratulated the young Footballer and wished her success in all of her endeavours.
