The first game in the ongoing Primary school Football tournament that was played on Friday 3rd November November, saw neighbours, Charlestown Primary and Maude Cross Preparatory, facing off.
The Maude Cross team started tentatively, but the Charlestown Primary players, on the other hand, were ultra-aggressive at the top.
The CPS lads maintained pressure on the MCPS defence and eventually scored from close range.
Maude Cross players started to look more up to the task at hand in the second half and scored to even up the score
The Charlestown Primary team was quick in response, as they too sunk one home, to make it 2 goals to 1.
As time ran out in the game, both teams got the sizeable crowd excited with a few good runs at the top but failed to nail another goal.
Final score 2 goals to 1 in favour of CPS
