The first phase of the Christena Memorial Swim camp for 2022 was conducted at the Yachtsman’s beach between Monday 18th and Thursday 21st of July.
The camp is being coordinated by the Swim to Win organization, in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports.
On Thursday 21st July, a certification ceremony was held for the eager participants who totaled over sixty in the first phase.
Deputy Director of Sports, Brian Dowe and Swim to Win representative Terri Andrews, officiated at the morning awards ceremony, while Director of Sports, Jamir Claxton, did the honours during the afternoon’s ceremony, along with Ms. Andrews.
A similar number of students is expected to commence phase two of the program on Monday 25th July
