Fire Arm And Ammunition Seizure Resulted In The Arrest Of One Person

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force continued its drive in removing fire arms and ammunition from the streets of the Federation with the assistance from citizens and residents of the Federation.

On Friday, April 24, 2015 police carried out an operation which lead to the recovery and seizure of a semi automatic .45 mm pistol with a magazine of matching rounds of ammunition, and the arrest of Kenville Finch of Ponds Pasture.

This occurred at about 6:30 p.m. at Ponds Pasture.

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ian Queeley therefore takes this opportunity to thank everyone who were instrumental in this operation, and to encourage citizens and residents to continue to report crimes and criminal behaviour to the police. He also stated that in so doing the safety and security of the country will be maintained.
