On Thursday 28th December, The Ministry of Education, Sports, Youth et al, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the St.Kitts Nevis Football Association to implement the FIFA Football for Schools initiative in Nevis.
The FIFA Football for Schools programme is a collaboration between FIFA and UNESCO which aims to contribute to the education, development, and empowerment of children.
The programme is aligned with the global sports, health, and education policies of UNESCO.
An official from the Ministry indicated that they are looking forward to the opportunities which will be created for staff members and the children of Nevis through this initiative.
