(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- It is that time again for the ‘Warner’s One Stop Family Book Feud competition’ that is slated to be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Nevis Performing Arts Centre, (NEPAC) from 5:00 p.m.
Warner’s One Stop which is situated at the Bird Rock, St. Kitts and owned and operated by Mr. Eustace Warner has once again agreed to partner with the Ministry and Department of Education and the schools’ librarians on Nevis for the fifth staging of ‘Family Book Feud’.
This year, the feud will be held under the theme, ‘Advancing Education by Fostering a Culture of Collaboration’.
The Family Book Feud is a manifestation of its theme as several businesses, and individuals are collaborating in this educational venture. This year families will represent nine (9) schools on the island to vie for the title of ‘Warner’s One Stop Family Book Feud 2014 Champions’.

Charlestown Secondary – Stephen and Renardo Hanley
Elizabeth Pemberton Primary – Veron and Steve Walters
Ivor Walters Primary – Judith and Nikusubila Matthew
Montessori Academy – Mamata and Hrishikesh Shrinivasan
Maude Cross Preparatory – Diane Hobson and Jayden Liburd
Charlestown Primary – Averil and Richonné Westerman
St. Thomas’ Primary – Kimoy Sweeney and Brianné Chapman
Violet O. J. Nicholls Primary – Melissa Lawrence and Alvano Brown
The school librarians, the organizers of family book feud, are looking forward to the support of the entire Nevisian community as they take up this endeavor, aimed at encouraging reading and strengthen families.
The organizers used the opportunity to thank the sponsors such as Warner’s One Stop, the Nevisian Association of South Florida and other local businesses and individuals who over the five years have generously donated money, gifts/prizes, time and other resources necessary for the success of the event.
