The second annual under 17 Football competition is on the way in earnest with the preliminary matches, attracting huge crowds at the ET Willet Park.
On Monday night, it was a heartbreaking affair for the St. Paul’s fans, as their team drew 2 goals all with St. Thomas’ but because they were in a must win situation, they have been effectively eliminated from the play offs.
In match one, St. John’s edged out St. George’s with a 1 goal to nil score line.
The grand finale for the tournament will be held on Saturday 24th December with the 3rd placed play off at 5.15 pm and that will be followed by the grand finals at 6.45 pm.
