Charlestown-Nevis-The Elizabeth Pemberton Primary School (EPPS) is currently celebrating 15 years of its existence and service to its community
The month of celebrations commenced with a thanksgiving service at the Gingerland Seventh-day Adventist Church, on Saturday 14th January.
They were treated with a warm welcome and received a monetary donation to the school’s cause, presented by Elder Franklyn Browne, on behalf of the church.
The school’s representatives then rendered an item of special music, which was very well received
The remaining activities for the month include:
Tuesday 17th January-Anniversary day-(Yellow day/Pep rally)
Wednesday 18th January-Picture Day; community outreach; the unveiling of school sign; visit old St. John’s Primary School
Friday 20th January-15 ways to build self-esteem
Sunday 22nd January -Annual Relay festival
Friday 27th January-Anniversary barbecue
Sunday 29th January-Beautification of school grounds
The school is soliciting a $20.00 donation from persons within the community, including those who have been in some way impacted by the school, towards making the hosting of the events a real success.
