A magnitude 4.0 earthquake was recorded this morning in the region of Anguilla.
The UWI Seismic Research Center (UWI SRC) said it occurred around 10:02 am (local time) at a depth of 10 km.
According to the Automatic Earthquake Location from UWI SRC, the quake struck:
Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis, 95 km, NNW
Saint John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, 167 km, NW
Brades, Montserrat, 170 km, NW
Some social media users said the quake was felt in Anguilla.
