On Friday 10th November, a symbolic draw took place at the Youth and Sports Department, to effectively decide which teams will face off in the upcoming semifinal encounters in the Primary Schools Football tournament.
The brief ceremony which saw the relevant Coaches present and watching closely, was coordinated by Kimbel Ward and Ms. Nichola Fraser.
The results of the draw which will see the two semifinal matches played on Wednesday 15th November are as follows:
6 pm –Joycelyn Liburd Primary v St. Thomas’ Primary
7 pm-Charlestown Primary v St. James’ Primary, in a repeat of last year’s finals.
According to Mr. Ward, there will be no charge to the general public for these games, but for the grand finals, slated for Saturday 18th November, adults will be charged an entrance fee of $5.00 and children will enter free of cost.
