Dania Phipps, from Saddlers, St. Kitts, has been sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison for the crime of murder.
This offence was committed on April 22, 2020, against the late Clement Mills of Parsons Village, St. Kitts.
The trial began on February 5, 2025, and concluded on February 18, 2025, with the jury returning a guilty verdict by majority.
Mr Phipps has been sentenced to serve forty-five (45) years in prison, with time served on remand to be deducted from his sentence.
He will be eligible for early release after serving two-thirds of his sentence, contingent upon good behaviour.
His Lordship Justice Iain Morley, KC, at the High Court in Basseterre, delivered the sentence on April 9, 2025.
